Hello! My name is Bea, and I am so excited for my first year at Little Acorn!
For me, learning is a joyful experience that I've always known I wanted to share with others. I really value empowering children through self-advocacy, self-expression, and building strong literacy skills from a young age.
I am proud to call Vancouver my hometown. I have my own 2 cats, Soup (a 4-year-old tuxedo) and Milktoast (a 7-year-old cream point), as well as a rotating cast of foster kittens. Outside of work, you can find me working on my endless arts & crafts projects, curled up with a good book (or podcast!), or making my second or third Dutch Bros trip of the day.
I'm currently taking Early Childhood Education classes at Clark College and hope to transition into their Bachelor's in Teacher Education program sometime next year.

I am Teacher Lindsay, office admin, that Box Tops lady, and all around Little Acorn helper! I’m so excited to spend this year with you!
I have been working with children professionally in some form for over 19 years. I lived in South Korea for a year after college, teaching children ages 3-18; since then, the bulk of my time has been spent being involved with the preschool age group specifically. This will be my 13th year at Little Acorn in some form (I started as a parent, then board member, lead teacher, into my current role). I feel very fortunate to not only help your children grow, but learn from them as well.
Personally, I have been married to my husband, Ryan, for 16 years. We have 2 children together who are both Little Acorn alumni; Audrey, who is almost 15, and Oliver, who is 12. Our family loves to travel, and have been to London, Dublin, Tokyo, and Paris, just to name a few. We love learning about new cultures (and eating new foods!). Exotic locales aren’t the norm, for us, however. Usually our love of travel leads us on small trips to the beach or Seattle.
I am looking forward to a fun school year with you all!
