WELCOME TO THE BUNNY BURROW!

In the Bunny Burrow classroom, we are literally laying the foundation of your child’s entire school experience. At Little Acorn we believe that a solid foundation is built with play!

We use an emergent curriculum and are “child-led” - which means that we follow the lead of the children and walk closely beside them while providing them with the opportunity to have experiences where they are learning through play.

Our environment and our curriculum creates curiosity that sparks natural interest and excitement for learning.

    Hi! My name is Chloe Van Brunt, and I am so excited to be joining Little Acorn this year as the Assistant Teacher in Bunny Burrow!

    This is my first year at Little Acorn, and I am so thrilled to be spending it with your little ones! I have always had a special place in my heart for little ones and am so excited to be a part of their first classroom experiences. I love watching children learn, explore, and experience new things for the first time, and I feel so lucky to be a part of that.

    This past year, I graduated from Skyview High School, where I took child development classes and earned my CNA license through Cascadia Tech. I hope to continue my education over the next few years with the goal of becoming a pediatric physical therapist assistant.

    Over the years, I have spent lots of time babysitting, nannying, and teaching dance classes, where my love for working with children has grown even more. I have experience with children from babies to teens, including children with disabilities.

    In my free time, I enjoy watching movies, reading, discovering new music, and spending time with my friends and my dog, Gizmo! I am also the biggest Harry Styles fan you will ever meet. I love baking, yoga, and making art, and I have a special place in my heart for dance. I danced for 13 years, so whenever a classroom dance party starts, I’ll always join in!

    I am so thankful to all of the Bunny Burrow families for trusting us with your little ones. I feel incredibly lucky to get to know each child, watch them grow, and be part of their little milestones throughout the year. I’m so excited for all the laughter, learning, fun, and sweet memories we’ll make together.
